Dives were really amazing. We had five Adventure Dives for AOWD:

1. Boat Dive
2. Night Dive
3. Underwater Navigator
4. Peak Performance Buoyancy
5. Deep Dive

Peak Performance Buoyancy was a number one technical lesson – I’d highly recommend taking it especially if you don’t feel very self-confident underwater due to excessive BCD usage or hard work with your fins/hands.

Night dive was a number one underwater sightseeing. Muraenas are really impressive! Yet apart from them, we’ve seen hell a lot of other underwater creatures. And by creatures, I really mean that some of them caused a frustration because I could not tell whether they were a fish, a plant, a snake, a rock or yet another underwater alien. This summer, my girlfriend, me and my brother decided to go diving. As Croatia was the country we always wanted to visit, we chose to receive our PADI Open Water Diver certificates there. The hardest part of all that was finding a place to stay and a diving center to dive with. After probably a week of searches, e-mail correspondence and phone chats, we finally agreed to stay with Pongo. Not only we agreed on diving courses but also on a very nice apartments in the middle of Rogoznica. I had no doubts our diving instructor Borko was exaggerating (it’s business) but for our great amazement, we got a two flour cosy house in the center of Rogoznica with three rooms, two bathrooms, terrase, balcony and all other facilities – all our!, for all week! and the price is included in the OWD course price! Unbelievable!!!

So far that was the best holiday ever! I cannot resist recommending these guys. So, back to the point. Here are top ten reasons to make your very first open water dives with Borko and Marko:

1. Rogoznica is a very lovely and very beautiful small island
2. Diving courses are really high quality with lots of additional lessons about threats, medical treatments etc. Usually you should be OK with general PADI DVD playback and diving exercises
3. There’s an infinite number of interesting underwater places around Rogoznica
4. Borko is a really nice guy
5. So is Marko
6. They have really nice houses for accommodation
7. The cost for diving courses with accommodation there is as small as say in Lithuania but without the accommodation
8. After each dive, you get beer for free
9. Very close to Rogoznica, there’s a Bau-Bar. It’s probably the most beautiful bar you will ever find

And how on the earth have you managed to find these guys for your OWD courses? On the internet? Randomly?! You are really REALLY lucky! I wish we have studied for our diving certificates with such a brilliant guys..
